Does a Workspace reopen every document?
Reopening missing windows depends on each app and its configured launch actions. Workspaces restore layout state; they do not back up documents or unsaved work.
Can I keep manual window placement?
Yes. Use Snap Assist mode for edge snapping and modifier-key movement. Choose Auto Flow separately when you want continuous automatic arrangement.
