Current public API surface

Tangrid currently exposes a limited public utility API for distribution and community navigation.

MCP discovery

Tangrid exposes a Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint for public informational tools only. It can return capabilities, resource links, the latest download endpoint, and the Discord invite endpoint.

No local window operation or private user-data access.

Auth and access

Tangrid is a local macOS app with account and license services. Public discovery and MCP tools require no auth. Tangrid does not currently offer a public OAuth app, API keys, webhooks, or user-data API.
